On Wednesday 18th, Hillary Clinton arrived to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. She was warmly welcomed by foreign minister’s representatives. And among those who welcomed her, there’s a special welcoming performance by 44 children from Obama’s former primary school. They’re singing traditional Indonesian folk songs and waving Indonesian and US flags. She kept smiling and friendly talked to them. A foreign Ministry official even said that Hillary shook hands with almost everyone at the airport down to the cleaning service staff.

Soon after arriving at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport in East Jakarta, Hillary Clinton headed to the Indonesian Foreign Ministry and had a meeting with Hassan Wirajuda, the Indonesian Foreign Minister.
After the meeting was over, Hillary held a short press conference accompanied by Hassan Wirajuda. She didn’t look exhausted after the seven-hour nonstop flight from Tokyo. In her blue blouse, she looked fresh and beautiful. With her never fading smile, she was able to give a new imagine on the US administration under President Obama.
As she began to talk, all attentions were directly switched on what she said.
“I bring greetings from President Obama, who has himself said and written about the importance of his time here as a young boy,” Clinton said. “It gave him an insight into not only this diverse and vibrant culture, but also the capacity for people with different backgrounds to live harmoniously together.”
